3 Common Things That Happens When Man (You) Leaves This World

Bible Reading: 1 Thessalonians  4:13-18

Introduction:

It is certain that, all of us came to this world one day and we are going back in different day. The Bible make it clear, it is appointed for a man to die and after is judgment. Hebrews 9:27

In order word, everyone should expect death anything. Death is a price you will pay one day. It has nothing to do with your age, tribe, gender, religion, place of birth, etc. Death is for all human beings, either you are rich or poor, educated or illiterate, black or white you are entitle to die one day.

It is a bad news to hear that someone die, but to the person that die, it is good news if such lives an acceptable life here. Death has nothing to do with your age, status, gender, colour or race. If you die today, that doesn’t change the world or making world to come to end. It is either your death will be sad to your family or joy to heaven or hell.

The following are the 3 common things that happen when man or woman or rich or poor, an educated or non-educated die:

1.      Remember You – Acts 9:36-40.

It is a common thing that, people remember everyone that die for one thing or the other. You will either remember for good or for bad. It is an easy thing for you in person to forget what you have done to people, in your church, at your place of work, in your family, etc, but people you do things to will never forget. As soon as you leave them, they begin to tell people about what you have done to them either good or bad.

2.   You Are Going Back With NOTHING – Eccl.5:15, Luke 16:20-25, John 11:38-44

There is no doubt that, thousands of people were dying daily, bury, but they were going with NOTHING. It is certain that, you came to this world naked, and as you are leaving this world, you are going with NOTHING. Only the thing people given you will be with you when you are going.

What are the things that people will give you? People will give you a cloth, a cap or head tie, a pair of shoe or a pair of socks. However, they will stone you with dust. Whatever people give you will be eating and destroying by soil, worms, ants, etc. John 11:41-44, Luke 23:50-54. People will now have access to all your properties, like house, cars, money, wears, etc.

I’m using this medium to urge you to use all our resources to help the people around you and beyond. All the money you keep in banks, buried in the ground, hide in boxes will no longer be yours when you die. This is the right time for you to use your gifts, talents, wisdom, etc to serve God and humanity. Share your foods, money, houses, clothes, with people around you. Don’t allow your neighbor to die in hunger.

3.   You Are Facing Eternity – Hebrews 9:27, Luke 16:20-25, 23:39-43

The number three things that common to everyone that leaves this world is that, each person facing eternity. Eternity is a place we to lives forever. It is a place that as NO end. It is a place where rich or poor, male or female, young or adult; father or mother, pastor or church member, Christian or Muslim, president or governor, white or black etc will lives forever.

Eternity is a place where you cannot run away from. If you are in this world, you can desire to leave where you are now to another city or town or country. But it is not like that in eternity. The choice you make NOW will determine your eternity either in HEAVEN or in HELL. 

Eternity is in two fold, HEAVEN or HELL. You cannot change it when you have leaved this world. The choice you make now, the life you lives now and the work you are doing now will determine where you will lives in eternity. It is either you are welcome to eternity with angel in heaven or angel in hell.

In John 3:16-18, the Bible makes it clear that, ONLY those that believe, accept and follow Jesus Christ will be in HEAVEN while those that reject, refuse and forsaking HIM will be in HELL.
