The Goal: Christ Formed In You

The Goal: Christ Formed In You

"Oh, my dear children! I feel as if I’m going through labor pains for you again, and they will continue until Christ is fully developed in your lives.” (Galatians 4:19, NLT)
Paul went to great pains to say that the ultimate goal is to have the person of Jesus Christ formed in us. We need to realize what it means for Christ to live in and through us—to invite the Spirit of Christ to work as he reveals himself to us.
This is a lifelong process; I have yet to realize major aspects of this objective. However, I know that God wants to become more fully developed in my life and in the lives of other believers. So let’s learn together what is involved.
One of the first truths to realize, believe, and trust in is this fact:
“For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body. So you also are complete through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority.” (Colossians 2:9–10, NLT)
Jesus Christ is inside the believer. We are complete in him. He is the one who is the source of life that is now lived through us.
“My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” (Galatians 2:20, NLT)
“So you also should consider yourselves to be dead to the power of sin and alive to God through Christ Jesus.” (Romans 6:11, NLT)
Christ can live through us as we reckon our old self DEAD to sin. The old self is still there, but we are no longer obliged to let it rule over us:
“Therefore, dear brothers and sisters, you have no obligation to do what your sinful nature urges you to do. For if you live by its dictates, you will die. But if through the power of the Spirit you put to death the deeds of your sinful nature, you will live.” (Romans 8:12–13, NLT)
Try placing your name in these verses to make them personally applicable to you. Where it says “I” “self” “me” “you” etc. substitute your name. That will make a tremendous difference in how you read these and other verses.
If we hope for these Scripture passages to become part of our daily experience, we need to accept, by faith, the truths stated in them.
Today, ask yourself:
Do I believe that my old self was crucified with Christ on the cross? What step will I take today to trust Christ to live his life in me?
1.       Thou power of resurrection, visit my foundation in the name of Jesus
2.      Thou voice of resurrection, speak life into every dead area of my life in the mighty name of Jesus
3.      Because He is risen, I arise out of sickness into divine health in Jesus’ name
4.      Because He is risen, I arise out of poverty into prosperity in the name of Jesus
5.      Because He is risen, I arise out of darkness into light in the name of Jesus
6.      Because He is risen, thou power of the grave, you have NO dominion over me in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Your Power Source

Your Power Source

The only source of power for you to succeed and fulfill is the power of God. There are several powers reigning in the world, however, the only reliable and sustainable power is from God.
"God has spoken plainly, and I have heard it many times: Power, O God, belongs to you.” (Psalm 62:11, NLT)
“Each time he said, ‘My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.’ So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.” (2 Corinthians 12:9, NLT)
It is amazing what lengths people will go to in order to gain access to those they perceive as “powerful people.” They run after worldly powers. Many spent thousands even millions of Dollars in order to acquire power and at the end the power could not give them their desire.
The Psalmist had it right. Power belongs to God. He is the one who can bring about the change we need in our lives and in the circumstances we encounter in this turbulent world.
In so many ways we are weak, powerless, and vulnerable. However, we have been born to a living hope. Subject to the sovereign will of God, we are kept by the power of God:
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. In God’s great mercy he has caused us to be born again into a living hope, because Jesus Christ rose from the dead. Now we hope for the blessings God has for his children. These blessings, which cannot be destroyed or be spoiled or lose their beauty, are kept in heaven for you. God’s power protects you through your faith until salvation is shown to you at the end of time.” (1 Peter 1:3–5, NCV)
Paul had a chronic physical condition that burdened him, and he prayed to have it removed. A message came from the Lord saying that God’s grace was all Paul he needed to sustain himself. He was told that God’s power works best in weakness. Paul said he would boast about his weaknesses so the power of Christ could work through him.
The power of God is available for everyone that seek for it. God is the owner of the mightiest power that you needs to do all things. He gives to people that ready to use the power according to God's will and purpose. No power can overcome you as long as you allow the power of God to take control of your life. Be fill with power of God.
Is there a lesson for us here?
“But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.” (1 Corinthians 1:27, NIV84)
May the power of Christ rest on you and me. Weakness may help make us better candidates for God to use.
Today, ask yourself:

Am I acknowledging my weakness and dependency on God? Is his grace sufficient for me?

1. Father, fill me with your power in the name of Jesus
2. I receive the fullness of God's power in the name of Jesus
3. Father, lose me from any captivity that devil may have cage me in the name of Jesus
4. Father restore back to me every goodness that have stolen away from me in the name of Jesus
5. Every forces of wickedness that surrounded me, I crush against you with power of God in the name of Jesus

The Priority: Christ Formed In You

The Priority: Christ Formed In You

“Now may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ.” (2 Thessalonians 3:5 , NKJV)
We spend time with the people we love, and we spend time doing the things we love. Such endeavors frequently require patience. This is certainly the case in our relationship with God. The process of getting to know him takes time and patience.
A lot of things cry for our attention. However, most of these distractions are temporal; they are in the process of perishing. KingdomNomics thinkers focus on the eternal:
“…We do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.” (2 Corinthians 4:18, NKJV)
We want to make sure our heart is directed into the love of God—into his values and his purposes.
“If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.” (Colossians 3:1–4, NKJV)
Focus on the words “seek,” “set,” “died,” “your life hidden,” and “Christ who is our life.”
As we seek the things above and set our minds on those things, there is an increasing “gravitational pull” toward Christ himself as we “pull away” from the world, realizing our lives ultimately will be swallowed by the immortal life of Christ.
In fact, as we practice KingdomNomics in the power of the Spirit, more and more of our life will be hidden in Christ. We look forward to that time when we will appear with him in glory.
We need to remember the Father and Christ, “in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” (Colossians 2:3, NIV)
Here is the source of wisdom and the treasures of life. If only we, and the rest of the world, would spend time with the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ!
Today, ask yourself:
If someone were examine my life today, what would they say I have my mind set on, and what am I seeking as the first priority of my life?
Where does this command of Jesus fit into my life: “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” (Matthew 6:33, NIV)

The Power: Christ Formed In You

The Power: Christ Formed In You

“Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit.” (Ephesians 5:18, NIV)
We have a choice to make. Who is going to control how we think, feel, and act? Christ or the old self?
We have seen that the Spirit of God gives us the power to walk in the newness of life since we are raised with Christ from the dead. We have seen how the Spirit works in the life of the believer to transform us from the inside out.
“So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.” (Galatians 5:16, NIV)
If the Spirit controls us we will overcome the power of sin in our life. “For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live.” (Romans 8:13, NIV)
Both of these verses say we have the power of choice here. What will it be? It is up to us.
As a child I was taken to an amusement park from time to time. Usually, we ride on the bumper cars that had large rubber rings around them to protect the drivers. The “fun” was trying to bump the other cars. Sometimes people would hit us too hard. That would produce a fleshly reaction of anger that would make us want to hit back as hard as possible.
Life is like this. We are always being “bumped” by circumstances and other people. Sometimes these bumps can be rather nasty, producing a less-than-Christian response. At those moments we have a decision to make: Will we let the old flesh control our reaction, or will Christ control us?
We make the choice by the act of our will. If we fail to make the right choice, we need to confess the sin and ask the Holy Spirit to again assume control. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9, NIV)
The old self does rear its ugly head from time to time, so we want to be careful to keep a “short sin list” by confessing our sin when we become aware of it.
Today, ask yourself:

Am I choosing to be controlled by the Holy Spirit so my life can be brought into conformance with the will of God? Is my behavior becoming more Christ like? By Paul Tobi

Possess and Occupy Your Throne

Topic: Possess Your Throne

Bible Reading: 1 Kings 1:5-53

The Holy Bible is a book of Life and manual for all things. Nothing happens without been trace to particular incident or verses in the Bible. The incident that happened between Adonijah and Solomon is an illustration to things that happens to many Christians today. Christians were ordained and crowned as Kings and Queens, but many have not attained this divined throne. They remain living as slaves and maid-salve under the authority of unbelievers – pagans.

The bible says."Adonijah was a manipulator, unsurper and betrayal. He tried all his efforts to hijack the throne from Solomon, but all his efforts failed woefully. He was made to return what never belonged to him, he bowed down before Solomon and paid the ultimate price" (1 Kings:1:5-53).

There are numerous Adonijah war against the children of God, manipulate their destiny, hijack their right and occupied the position of believers. Many Christian are under the captivity of Adonijah. He has caged them and snatched away their God given.
Today, Adonijah does not exist, but the spirit of Adonijah is at work against the children of God. Remember, Solomon did not take over his throne from Adonijah until his (Solomon) mother run to the King for intervention. You have no power or strength to win the battle against Adonijah spirit, but you have Jesus Christ that never lost battle. He is the King of kings and Lord of lords. He invites you to come unto Him for solution.

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28

Don’t ignore this great invitation. Accept it is the beginning of your freedom from the forces of Adonijah that hijacked your destiny.

Do you know you are ordained as a King or a Queen from God? Do you know you are to occupy the throne and rule your world? Do you ever dream of see yourself fulfill the purpose and plan of God for your life? What do you think you exist for? To be sincere with you, God ordained and set you apart to be a king or queen (Genesis 1:27-28, Exodus 7:1, Psalm 82:6, John 10:34-35)

“The LORD said to Moses, Behold, I make you as God to Pharaoh [to declare My will and purpose to him]; and Aaron your brother shall be your prophet.” Exodus 7:1
Beloved, never allow the generations of Adonijah to take away your crown. Never trade with his agents to occupy your throne. Your sit should not be vacant for the enemy to occupy.

1. Lord I thank you for given me grace to overcome the spirit of
Adonijah war against my soul.

2. By the Word through which all things were created, I decree, your enemies shall labour in vain over my life in the name of Jesus.

3. Every oppressing and manipulating powers struggling to manipulate the promise of God upon my life, shall be disgraced, dishonoured and perpetually silenced by the Powerful Name of
Jesus Christ in Jesus Mighty Name.

4. Every pre-destined blessings of God upon my life shall come into manifestation in the name of Jesus.

5. My glorious crown shall receive the fire of God, and it will never be given to someone else in Jesus name.

6. Father, let there be restoration of every missing blessing in my life in the name of Jesus.

7. Father, in your mercy and favour, I recover my glory and glorious days back in Jesus name.

8. By fire by thunder I recover whatever the devil has taken away from me physically or spiritually in Jesus Mighty Name.

9. My Father and my Lord gird me with strength and power to recover all my hidden treasure from the coven of forces of darkness in the name of Jesus.

10. Every satanic warehouse harboring my glory shall burst open by the Powerful thunder of heaven in the name of Jesus.

11. Father in your mercy, I recover my place of beauty, honour and dignity in the name of Jesus.

12. Whoever and whatever stands as a destructive Adonijah (agent of Satan) in my life shall be arrested and wasted by the Holy Ghost fire in Jesus Mighty Name.

13. All my adversaries shall bow down before me in Jesus Mighty Name.

14. I am the chosen one, divinely preserved and simply the very best, no forces of Adonijah can stop my success in the name of Jesus.

15. Father, arise in your mercy, deliver me from the cage of Adonijah in the name of Jesus

Pilgrims and Strangers in This World

Pilgrims and Strangers in This World

“Blessed are those whose strength is in you, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage. As they pass through the Valley of Baka, they make it a place of springs; the autumn rains also cover it with pools. They go from strength to strength, till each appears before God in Zion.” (Psalm 84:5–7, NIV)
Because we live in a temporary, perishing world, we need to constantly remind ourselves we are on a pilgrimage here. We are blessed to realize our sufficiency is in God alone, and that all we need is sourced in him.
Most of us find ourselves in the Valley of Baca from time to time. That is a place of drought or need. It is then we find our provision in the Lord himself as we allow him to teach us. Many times these “valleys” can be places of blessing where we can experience revelation from God and sense his presence.
Of the heroes of faith it is said, “All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance, admitting that they were foreigners and strangers on earth.” (Hebrews 11:13, NIV)
“For here we do not have an enduring city, but we are looking for the city that is to come.” (Hebrews 13:14, NIV)
With this viewpoint we can go from “strength to strength,” knowing our goal is to ultimately appear before our God at the end of our journey.
“May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Thessalonians 5:23, NIV)
Today, ask yourself:
Do I view myself as a pilgrim who is passing through this world? Am I listening to and applying the messages God is giving to me?
Lord, help me to listen to your voice. Enable me to receive and apply your teaching. Continue to mold me and make me more Christlike as I respond to life’s experiences. By Paul Oluwatobi

War Against The Ancient Days Gates

Bible Reading: Psalm 24
“Lift Up Your Heads, Age-Abiding Doors”
Beloved, as you wake up this morning, started another journey, the first thing that must happen is for the GATE to open for you. There is GATE that link to this day blessing, there is GATE that link to the right destination, there is GATE that connects you with your helpers, there is GATE that open great and glorious opportunity for you and there is GATE that makes heaven shower blessing, goodness and peace upon you.
Mind you, there is GATE that open each day, this GATE must be open so that you go in and possess your possessions and everything God embedded in this day for you.
Psalmist says: "Lift up your heads, O you gates; and be lifted up, you age-abiding doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is the King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O you gates; yes, lift them up, you age-abiding doors that the King of glory may come in.” Psalm 24:7-9
According to Psalm 24, there are gates that close against the entering of people of God. These gates hinder people to go in to their promise land. It is gate like the wall of Jericho. There are gates like the Red Sea hindered the Israelites to crossover. There gates stands as mountain for the people of God to move forward.
These gates hinder the visitation of King of Glory to your life, business, ministry and family. Many people are operating under close gates, it is true that they were living everyday but the gates of blessing are always close against them.
These GATES I’m talking about are spiritual gates in heavenly sphere –
For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere.” Ephesians 6:12 Amplified
These gates are unseen gate but operating in spiritual realm. They are gates where the immigration officer of satanic kingdom stood to hinder the angel that brought Daniel’s answer to his prayers. Daniel 10:12-13
Then he said to me, Fear not, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your mind and heart to understand and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come as a consequence of [and in response to] your words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me for twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief [of the celestial] princes, came to help me, for I remained there with the kings of Persia.
You can understand now that there are gates that must be open for you to accomplish your dreams, for you to fulfill your purpose and for you to receive glorious answers to your prayers.
Many people thought that God did not hearing them, but not knowing that, it is gate that close against them in the spiritual realm. Until you kin yourself to the Word of God and washing yourself total being in the Blood of Jesus, you may not go in and possess the great things that God promised you.
The Psalmist continues to open our understanding and tell us the people that can get access through the ancient gates are those who have unadulterated hands and pure heart.
Who shall go up into the mountain of the Lord? Or who shall stand in His Holy Place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted himself up to falsehood or to what is false, nor sworn deceitfully” Psalm 24:3-4.
They were the people mention in Psalm 1:1
Blessed (happy, fortunate, prosperous, and enviable) is the man who walks and lives not in the counsel of the ungodly [following their advice, their plans and purposes], nor stands [submissive and inactive] in the path where sinners walk, nor sits down [to relax and rest] where the scornful [and the mockers] gather.
Beloved, today is your day of deliverance, it is your day of divine visitation and it is a day that heaven will recognize and release uncommon blessing and prosperity upon you and your business. However, you must be clean before God. Our righteousness is embedded in Jesus Christ. His Bloodshed on the Cross is an ultimate price for our redemption. Ephesians 1:7, Colossians 1:14, Hebrews 9:12, 15
He went once for all into the [Holy of] Holies [of heaven], not by virtue of the blood of goats and calves [by which to make reconciliation between God and man], but His own blood, having found and secured a complete redemption (an everlasting release for us).Hebrews 9:12 Amplified
The death of Jesus Christ on the Cross makes us clean to enter into the Holy of holies (heaven). However, only those that believe and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour through His death are entitle to enter the Holy of Holies – Heaven. In order words, only those accept His Lordship have access to open gates at anytime. Therefore, you must be Born Again and wash yourself with the Blood of Jesus by confess your sins unto Jesus Christ, believe Him and obey Him. Luke 13:3, 5, Acts 2:38.

1.            Father, upon this glorious day, the Powerful Word of God shall clear every hindrance from my path for divine visitation of the King of glory into your life in Jesus name

6.          The Lord will lift me up above my peers in the name of Jesus.
7.           Father, lift me from last position to first class of glorious things in the name of Jesus.

11.        Those who doubt the ability and power of God in my life, shall face the wrath of God in the name of Jesus.
12.      Father causes me to be the next in line to share uncommon testimony in the name of Jesus.
13.      Whosoever detest good thing happening in my life, shall be disgraced and perpetually silenced by the fire and thunder of God in Jesus Mighty Name.
14.      Everyone expecting my disappointment will be disappointed to hear about my appointment to the exalted position by the Benevolent God in Jesus Mighty Name.
15.       Every ancient gates that have been close against my destiny, hear the Word of God, be open by fire and thunder in the name of Jesus.
16.      Every obstacles stand as ancient gates in my life, I remove them by the Blood of Jesus

17.       Today, I will manifest the glory of God in the name of Jesus.
